Georgia High School Basketball - Sumter County overwhelms Hardaway

The Sumter County Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Hardaway Hawks to 23 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carver for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Sumter County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 72-37 league loss to KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Hardaway falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Spencer (Columbus, GA) to confront the Greenwave in a AA Region 1 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Greenwave go into the game with a record of 11-4.
