In Tuesday's league contest, the host Hartshorne Miners basketball team scored a big 77-38 win over the Wilburton Diggers.

The Miners (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pocola (Pocola, OK). The Indians come into the Black Diamond contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Pocola smashed Stigler (Stigler, OK), 70-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Diggers battle the Wister Wildcats (Wister, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Wilburton will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Kinta (Kinta, OK).
