In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Woodstock North Thunder basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Harvard Hornets.

The Thunder (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Lakes was topped by Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 48-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a Kishwaukee River contest, on Friday, January 17. Harvard will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 1-15 record after their 68-45 league loss to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).
