Texas High School Basketball - Hawkins routs Ore City

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored a big 42-8 win over the Ore City Rebels.

The Hawks (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Longhorns come into the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 12-17 record. In their last contest, McLeod smashed Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 67-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 contest, on Friday, January 17. Ore City will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 6-19 record after their 76-23 league win over Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX).
