The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pinellas Park Patriots (Largo, FL) and the host Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL), observed Pinellas Park's basketball team overcome Hollins by a margin of 63-54.

The Patriots (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils come into the 5A District 10 challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Petersburg defeated Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL), 74-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Royals battle the Osceola Warriors (Seminole, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Hollins will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL).
