The Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) basketball edged the visiting Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL), 66-62 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Childersburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Vincent will play a Tigers team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Horseshoe Bend falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Generals host Ranburne (Ranburne, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 8 bout on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Ranburne lost 72-31 in their recent league bout against Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL)
