With the victory, Pollok Central advances its record to 15-10 on the year. The Bulldogs host Diboll (Diboll, TX) to meet the Lumberjacks in a 3A Region III District 21 match on Friday, January 17. The Lumberjacks enter the match with a record of 6-10. Diboll won 57-38 in their recent league match against Newton (Newton, TX)

The Red Devils now own a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineywoods Community Academy for a 3A Region III District 21 match on Friday, January 17. Huntington will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 49-38 league loss to Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 12-14.
