Kansas High School Basketball - Parsons holds off Independence

The Parsons Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Independence Bulldogs to 57 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Independence falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chanute (Chanute, KS) to confront the Blue Comets in a Southeast Kansas game on Friday, January 17. The Blue Comets go into the game with a record of 4-2. Chanute won 38-33 in their recent league game against Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS)
