The Industrial Cobras got by the visiting Palacios Sharks basketball team by a margin of 45-41 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Cobras (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Cardinals go into the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Columbus nipped Edna (Edna, TX), 68-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sharks battle the Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 contest, on Friday, January 17. Palacios will attempt to better on its 11-16 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 52-48 league win over Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX).
