In Tuesday's league contest, the host Johnsburg Skyhawks basketball team scored a big 68-45 triumph over the Marengo Indians.

The Skyhawks (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the Kishwaukee River contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Plano was trounced by Woodstock (Woodstock, IL), 48-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a Kishwaukee River contest, on Friday, January 17. Marengo will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 54-34 league loss to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
