The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers defeated the host Kemper County Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 69-50 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next up, the Tigers face the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) in a 3A Region 5 match, on Saturday, January 18. Southeast Lauderdale will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 18-3 record after their 61-29 league win over Kemper County (DeKalb, MS).
The Wildcats now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLaurin for a 3A Region 5 match on Friday, January 17. Kemper County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 79-9 league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 17-3.
