The West Point Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils to 46 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Russellville for a 5A Area 15 game on Friday, January 17. West Point will confront a Golden Tigers team coming off a 72-34 non-league win over Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 11-12 on the campaign. The Red devils host Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 10-9. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy lost 66-60 in their recent non-league game against Plainview (Rainsville, AL)
