Mississippi High School Basketball - Leake County routs Stringer

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Leake County Gators basketball team scored a big 66-20 triumph over the Stringer Red Devils.
The Gators (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS). The Pirates go into the 1A Region 7 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Mount Olive walloped Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS), 55-17, in a league battle.
The Red Devils now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mississippi School for the Deaf for a 1A Region 7 battle on Thursday, January 16. Stringer will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-17 league loss to Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-15.
