The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) and the visiting Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN), observed Upperman's basketball team edge Livingston Academy by a score of 48-47.

The Bees (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against DeKalb County (Smithville, TN). The Tigers come into the 3A District 7 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, DeKalb County was tipped by Cumberland County (Crossville, TN), 45-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Stone Memorial Panthers (Crossville, TN) in a 3A District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Livingston Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 60-44 league win over White County (Sparta, TN).
