The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maine-Endwell Spartans (Endwell, NY) and the visiting Union-Endicott Tigers (Endicott, NY), observed Maine-Endwell's basketball team knock off Union-Endicott by a score of 72-58.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Weaver (Hartford, CT). The Beavers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Weaver dropped by Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT), 56-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Johnson City Wildcats (Johnson City, NY) in a Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro challenge, on Friday, January 17. Union-Endicott will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
