In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mansfield Timberview Wolves basketball team scored a good 67-54 triumph over the Seguin Cougars.

The Wolves (21-5) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans go into the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Centennial topped Burleson (Burleson, TX), 71-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 battle, on Friday, January 17. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 14-12 season record.
