The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) and the visiting Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX), observed Meridian's basketball team edge Valley Mills by a margin of 46-39.

The Yellowjackets (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 12 challenge with a 15-5 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bosqueville Bulldogs (Waco, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 challenge, on Friday, January 17.
