Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Minersville routs Tamaqua

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Minersville Battlin' Miners basketball team scored a big 69-29 triumph over the Tamaqua Blue Raiders.

The Battlin' Miners (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles go into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Blue Mountain was trounced by Pottsville (Pottsville, PA), 44-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Raiders confront the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 contest, on Friday, January 17. Tamaqua will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Crimson Tide go into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 44-36 league win over Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
