The Chargers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Rebels come into the A Section 3 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Murray County Central was routed by Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN), 76-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the encounter the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Mountain Lake/Comfrey will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 62-44 league loss to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN).
