Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Union Area succumbs to Neshannock

January 14, 2025: New Castle, PA 16105

In Tuesday's league test, the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), by a final score of 63-52.

Next, the Lancers clash with the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 test, on Friday, January 17. Neshannock will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 53-38 non-league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA).

The Scotties (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats come into the WPIAL 2A 4 test with a 7-7 record.
