California High School Basketball - Placer bests Nevada Union

The Placer Hillmen basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Nevada Union Miners to 62 in the Hillmen league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hillmen now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Twelve Bridges for a Foothill Valley game on Tuesday, January 21. Placer will play a Raging Rhinos team coming off a 61-57 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Nevada Union falls to 13-6 on the year. The Miners travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to face the Raging Rhinos in a Foothill Valley match on Thursday, January 16. The Raging Rhinos enter the match with a record of 14-4. Twelve Bridges won 61-52 in their recent league match against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA)
