The Scottsboro Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host New Hope Indians to 42 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a 5A Area 14 game on Friday, January 17. Scottsboro will confront a Aggies team coming off a 69-49 non-league loss to Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 11-15.

With the loss, New Hope falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Indians host Columbia (Huntsville, AL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-18.
