Kentucky High School Basketball - Paris nips Nicholas County

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Paris Greyhounds basketball team scored a close 67-62 win over the Nicholas County Bluejackets.
The Greyhounds (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels come into the District 40 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Bourbon County was tipped by George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 88-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) in a District 38 contest, on Friday, January 17. Nicholas County will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY).
