Mississippi High School Basketball - Wayne Academy victorious over Park Place Christian Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Wayne Academy Jaguars basketball team scored a good 47-38 triumph over the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders.
The Jaguars (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels go into the MAIS 5A District 2 contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Leake Academy topped East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 68-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 contest, on Friday, January 17. Park Place Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 65-40 league win over Lamar (Meridian, MS).
