In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Surrey Mustangs basketball team scored a good 72-64 triumph over the Parshall/North Shore Braves.
The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Glenburn (Glenburn, ND). The Panther go into the B District 6 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Glenburn was topped by Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND), 91-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Drake/Anamoose Raiders (Drake, ND) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Parshall/North Shore will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 78-32 league loss to Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND).
