Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy victorious over Piedmont Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles basketball team scored a good 48-38 triumph over the Piedmont Academy Cougars.
The Eagles (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Mount de Sales Academy was topped by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 66-64, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 contest, on Friday, January 17. Piedmont Academy will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 56-30 league win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
