The South Pike Eagles basketball squad (Magnolia, MS), was nudged 63-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS)
With the victory, Port Gibson advances its record to 6-14 on the year. The Blue Waves travel to Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 8-10.
The Eagles now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wesson for a 3A Region 7 battle on Thursday, January 16. South Pike will meet a Cobras squad coming off a 63-35 league loss to Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Cobras record now stands at 5-16.
