The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) and the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), observed Riverheads's basketball team knock off Waynesboro by a score of 55-42.

The Gladiators (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Bath County was knocked off by Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 71-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Little Giants encounter the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Waynesboro will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 72-41 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
