The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Seagraves Eagles (Seagraves, TX) and the visiting Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX), observed Seagraves's basketball team overcome Sundown by a margin of 51-37.
The Eagles (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Morton (Morton, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region I District 5 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Morton defeated Whiteface (Whiteface, TX), 43-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Roughnecks battle the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Sundown will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 61-50 league loss to Plains (Plains, TX).
