Alabama High School Basketball - Springville knocks off St. Clair County

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Springville Tigers basketball team scored a good 60-43 win over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints.
The Tigers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Corner (Warrior, AL). The Yellow Jackets come into the 5A Area 12 contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Corner was topped by Hayden (Hayden, AL), 59-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Fighting Saints battle the Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL) in a 5A Area 11 contest, on Thursday, January 16. St. Clair County will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 66-58 non-league win over White Plains (Anniston, AL).
