In Tuesday's league test, the Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), by a score of 57-14.
Next, the Chargers encounter the Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain test, on Friday, January 17. Wayne Country Day will attempt to improve on its 20-3 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 84-27 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC).
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights come into the NCISAA Coastal Plain test with a 18-7 record. In their last test, Greenfield bounced Epiphany (New Bern, NC), 84-27, in a league test.
