The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) and the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), observed Westwood's basketball team knock off West Monona by a score of 66-53.

The Rebels (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA) in a Western Valley - North challenge, on Friday, January 17. West Monona will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 40-38 non-league loss to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA).
