The Lions (9-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Young Women's Leadership Academy (Fort Worth, TX). The Lady Owls come into the 3A Region II District 9 challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Young Women's Leadership Academy trounced Village Tech (Duncanville, TX), 53-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Madison Trojans (Dallas, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 challenge, on Friday, January 17. A Plus Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 24-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Gateway Charter Academy (Dallas, TX).
