In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Acorn Tigers basketball team scored a big 80-33 triumph over the Hector Wildcats.
The Tigers (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hackett (Hackett, AR). The Hornets go into the 2A Region 4 contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Hackett was trounced by Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR), 45-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) in a 2A Region 4 contest, on Thursday, January 16. Hector will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Little Johns go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 52-20 league loss to Hackett (Hackett, AR).
