The Wilson Wildcats bounced the visiting Adams Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 52-18 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Wildcats face the North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 outing, on Friday, January 17. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 17-12 season record. The Stallions enter the outing with a 13-13 record after their 52-27 league win over Seagoville (Dallas, TX).

The Cougars (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers enter the 5A Region II District 14 outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, West Mesquite was overwhelmed by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 75-40, in a league outing.
