The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy Guardians defeated the visiting Alden-Hebron Green Giants basketball squad by a count of 54-41 in Tuesday's league match.

With the victory, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Guardians travel to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL) to face the Sobos in a Northeastern match on Thursday, January 16. The Sobos enter the match with a record of 9-10. South Beloit won 45-23 in their recent league match against Christian Liberty (Arlington Heights, IL)

The Green Giants now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvest Christian Academy for a Northeastern match on Saturday, January 18. Alden-Hebron will face a Lions squad coming off a 55-51 non-league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Lions record now stands at 11-6.
