In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Croswell-Lexington Pioneers basketball team scored a big 58-34 triumph over the Algonac Muskrats.

The Pioneers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Yale (Yale, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Blue Water Area contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Yale smashed Imlay City (Imlay City, MI), 57-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Muskrats confront the Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) in a Blue Water Area contest, on Thursday, January 16. Algonac will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 50-47 league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MI).
