North Carolina High School Basketball - Ascend Leadership tipped by River Mill

January 14, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332

The River Mill Jaguars nipped the host Ascend Leadership Aviators basketball squad by a final score of 31-26 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel outing, on Thursday, January 16. River Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Grizzlies enter the outing with a 8-3 record after their 54-32 non-league win over Community Baptist (Reidsville, NC).

The Aviators (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Tigers enter the 1A Central Tar Heel outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Triangle Math & Science got by Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC), 32-18, in a league outing.
