North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook overwhelms Forestview

January 14, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28056

The Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Forestview Jaguars to 29 in the Greenwave league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greenwave now have a 5-8 record. They play next when they host North Gaston for a 3A Big South game on Friday, January 17. Ashbrook will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 45-32 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Forestview falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to confront the Mountaineers in a 3A Big South game on Friday, January 17. The Mountaineers go into the game with a record of 1-14. Kings Mountain won 45-32 in their recent league game against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)
