North Carolina High School Basketball - Bandys bested by Newton-Conover

Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), 66-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Newton-Conover advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Red Devils host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to face the Bears in a 2A Catawba Valley match on Friday, January 17. The Bears enter the match with a record of 4-11. Bunker Hill lost 74-37 in their recent league match against Maiden (Maiden, NC)

The Trojans now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maiden for a 2A Catawba Valley match on Wednesday, January 15. Bandys will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 74-37 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-2.
