New York High School Basketball - Metropolitan routs Beach Channel

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Metropolitan basketball team scored a big 67-23 win over the Beach Channel Dolphins.
The (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield Gardens (Springfield Gardens, NY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Springfield Gardens was trounced by Van Buren (Queens Village, NY), 43-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dolphins battle the Richmond Hill Lions (Richmond Hill, NY) in a PSAL 3A Queens I contest, on Thursday, January 16. Beach Channel will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
