The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) and the visiting Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX), observed Saint Jo's basketball team edge Bellevue by a margin of 57-55.
The Panthers (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region III District 18 challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Forestburg edged Midway (Henrietta, TX), 50-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Bellevue will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 59-21 league loss to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX).
