In Tuesday's league contest, the host Grandfield Bearcats basketball team scored a good 48-30 triumph over the Big Pasture Rangers.

The Bearcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Temple (Temple, OK). The Tigers go into the Southern Eight contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Temple was topped by Cement (Cement, OK), 59-17, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Plainview Indians (Ardmore, OK) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Big Pasture will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 56-49 non-league loss to Cache (Cache, OK).
