The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) and the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), observed Levelland's basketball team overwhelm Big Spring by a score of 82-31.

The Lobos (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region I District 5 challenge with a 8-20 record. In their last challenge, Snyder trounced Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 54-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Steers encounter the Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 47-37 league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX).
