The Cardinals (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the District 40 challenge with a 10-3 record.

In their next game, the Colonels encounter the Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Bourbon County will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bluehawks come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 45-26 non-league loss to Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).
