With the victory, Bowie advances its record to 19-8 on the year. The Pirates travel to Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 16 match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 12-11. Harts Bluff won 60-34 in their recent league match against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)

The Brahmas now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivercrest for a 2A Region II District 16 match on Friday, January 17. Pewitt will face a Rebels squad coming off a 48-35 league loss to Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 9-20.
