The Clarendon Lions basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Brinkley Tigers to 39 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bradford for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Clarendon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 49-48 league loss to Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, Brinkley falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Dermott (Dermott, AR) to confront the Rams in a 1A Region 6 game on Friday, January 17. The Rams go into the game with a record of 3-9. Dermott lost 59-23 in their recent non-league game against Monticello (Monticello, AR)
