In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored a big 70-27 triumph over the Cabot Panthers.
The Wampus Cats (19-1) will now prepare for their contest against Link Academy (Branson, MO). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Link Academy smashed Lift for Life Academy (St. Louis, MO), 61-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central contest, on Friday, January 17. Cabot will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 60-39 league win over Bryant (Bryant, AR).
