The Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS), 48-38 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Whippets now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Houston for a 4A Region 3 bout on Thursday, January 16. Kosciusko will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 72-24 league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, MS). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Caledonia falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Louisville (Louisville, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-3.
