The Corner Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Carbon Hill Bulldogs to 38 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets now have a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Hayden for a 5A Area 12 game on Thursday, January 16. Corner will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 33-23 league win over Center Point (Birmingham, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Carbon Hill falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Oakman (Oakman, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A Area 10 game on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-17. Oakman lost 39-37 in their recent league game against Gordo (Gordo, AL)
